More Death For Sins of the Father (Mother)!

Bruce:  shouldn't every child be killed at birth so as to "save them" from themselves later on?

AMANDA: God created man to have a relationship with him on earth.  Where's the relationship if they're killed at birth?  Once again, free will comes into it.  Where is that child's free will if you make the decision that he shouldn't live?  God Himself won't take away our free will, but that is exactly what you are suggesting we do.

BRUCE: Amanda, do you ever actually read what you say from one paragraph to another?  Perhaps you should so that you can avoid embarrassment in the future.  Let's compare your quote here with the one you made earlier about "why" your friend's little boy drowned to death:

Amanda Quote #1:   God created man to have a relationship with him on earth.  Where's the relationship if they're killed at birth?  Once again, free will comes into it.  Where is that child's free will if you make the decision that he shouldn't live?  God Himself won't take away our free will, but that is exactly what you are suggesting we do.  (my emphasis)

Amanda Quote #2:  Bruce, do you have any proof that Jesus did nothing? My friend's son drowned four years ago when he was three while she was talking on the phone right by the pool, but with her back to it.  At that time she wasn't living in God's will and had backslidden a lot, but she says that even then God had warned her twice not to phone her friend.  The consequence of her disobedience was the death of her son, and it wasn't God's fault because she was warned.  (my emphasis)

BRUCE:  Well, Amanda, if the death of your friend's little boy was, as you say, "The consequence of her [your friend's] disobedience," then how does that account for the "free will" of the little boy to live?  Was it his "free will" to be the "punishment" for something his mother had done?  Oh yes, that brings us back to the little "sins of the fathers" problem from Deut.24:16 and Ezekiel 18 . . . but I repeat myself!

Bruce:  Take me for example. As someone who used to believe (and was baptised and "saved") but now do not believe, shouldn't I have been killed at birth, thereby assuring my direct passage to heaven instead of the hell where Christians threaten me with now? For that matter, if your god is all-knowing, all-powerful and all-loving, then wouldn't he have known all of this was going to happen in advance, from the beginning of time in fact? Wouldn't he know that I would go from a state of "belief and salvation" to this state of "disbelief and condemnation"?

AMANDA: Yes, He did know - but perhaps He also knows that in a few years time you may become a great evangelist for Him and will win thousands over to the side of Jesus Christ, using your hate for Him now as a testimony for others later.

BRUCE: More "hate" Amanda?  How many times must I say that I don't "hate" Jesus any more than I "hate" Mickey Mouse or any other fictional character.  That's silly!

But, to answer your statement, I, once again, must reiterate that THE ONLY THING that will bring me back to belief is THE RESURRECTION OF JUST ONE SINGLE CHILD FROM THE DEAD!  And I need to see it, Amanda!  And, since you are a "True Christian," perhaps you could perform the resurrection yourself, "in Jesus' name," "so that the Father may be glorified through the Son."  Here's your big, Chance, Amanda . . . Jesus is watching, so don't blow it!
